Relax with Smooth Jazz this Weekend in Waynesboro, PA
Looking for something different to do this weekend with friends and family? If you enjoy the soothing sounds of smooth jazz, then you won’t want to miss what’s happening in Waynesboro, PA this Sunday, August 28th.
The Renfrew Institute will present its 25th Annual Jazz Festival, which is held each year on the lawn behind the historic museum house on the Renfrew grounds (the rain location will be Waynesboro Area High School auditorium).
Organizers have gone the extra mile to provide a top-tier line-up of jazz artists for this anniversary event. Performers this year include vocalist and five-time Grammy nominee Karrin Allyson. She’ll be joined by tenor saxophonist Eric Alexander, guitarist Paul Bollenback, bassist Ed Howard, and drummer Adam Cruz. Following the concert, the performers will also be available for an informal question-and-answer period.
Believe it or not, this event is FREE to the public.
Great music is closer than you think. Trust me, there will be few opportunities to see this caliber of jazz talent locally for free, so bring a blanket (or lawn chairs) and settle in for some Sunday afternoon jazz on the lawn at the Renfrew Institute.
