Looking For A New Book? Give Mine a Try!
In addition to my weekly rants here online, I also write other things, including novels and short stories. To that end, I’m pleased to announce that my latest novel, Slipknot, is being published in both paperback and for Kindle e-reader (via Amazon) on May 1st, 2024.
This is my second published work (the first, Apokalypsis, published in 2014, is also available on Amazon in both formats), and I’m excited to finally get this new work out for folks to read and enjoy.
What’s ‘Slipknot’ about? Well, here is the synopsis:
In an attempt to help pay off a gambling debt, three childhood friends have been robbing banks with the aid of remote drone technology. Now the mob wants the crew to take on their biggest heist ever, but the State Police and the FBI are also aware of what’s going on and are forcing the trio to help take down a notorious crime boss. Between a rock and a hard place, will they be able to escape unscathed?
It’s a fast-paced, easy to read story that is just perfect for a plane trip, summer beach read, or just a rainy afternoon curled up in your favorite chair.
The next question you may have would be “why the long wait between published works?” Well, as I point out in the book’s introduction, sometimes life gets in the way of our grand plans. I’ve worked on this story off and on over the past six years, but with no real deadline, it was easy to shove it to the back burner. Luckily, I made the self-commitment to finish up the manuscript this past year and get this latest work published.
Not to brag, but I think it’s a pretty good story. So, if you enjoy a rousing adventure or thriller-type romp (or know of an avid reader who does), why not take a chance and give a newer published author a look? It’s even got a larger-type font (for us older folks), so it will make a great gift.
Look for Slipknot on Amazon.com starting May 1st, 2024 (the Kindle version is even available now for pre-order).
Happy reading!
