It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas…
Only two weeks left, folks, and all over the four-state region, it really is starting to look and feel like the holidays have arrived. There’s even snow in the forecast for this week (poo-poo to you winter haters – I say bring on the holiday fluff!)
Ever since I was a wee lad, one of my favorite holiday traditions was to drive (or ride) around and look at all of the houses that really went out of their way to decorate their exteriors with lights and other festive adornments. It’s a tradition my family carries on to this day. We even come up with “shorthand” names for the houses, so we all speak the same language. I might say “the river house had their lights on last night”, or one of my daughters might say “the candy cane house has their stuff up”. That way we instantly know exactly what address we are talking about.
So this past Saturday night, we decided to go for a ride and be “looky-loos” for this year’s light displays. After a 45 minute wait to try to drive through the display at Byron Park in Williamsport (we bailed – opting to come back on a weeknight when it was less crowded), we captured a few of our annual favorites on camera.
